Officer, Take My Weed, Please

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in York Park at 2:33 am. Police discovered women sitting in the vehicle and detected a strong smell of marijuana.

The women admitted smoking weed and one suspect  handed over a baggie of pot to an officer and said, “You can have it.”

The ladies allowed police to search the vehicle. Officers discovered two additional baggies of marijuana. Police impounded the drugs and advised the women about misdemeanor charges. They allowed the women to contact a sober friend to drive them home.

I’m Fine, I Just Need My Unemployment

Ohio Pandemic alerted police to an issue with a Portsmouth man they were on the phone with. Around 5:35 pm, they claimed the man had threatened to harm himself.

Officers checked on him at home. He said he was fine and had not threatened to harm himself. He’d only told the Unemployment Office he was going to starve to death because it was taking so long to get payments. He thanked officers for checking on him.

Train Yard Trauma
