A teenager’s late-night Facebook post raised concerns, and Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to investigate.
The caller said the girl posted about how abusive her boyfriend was towards her and said that she would delete the post before the boy woke up so he wouldn’t see it.
However, other people saw the post and asked officers to perform a welfare check. When deputies spoke to the girl, she said she had posted something about a dream she had and was not being abused.
