Deputies proved to be real cowboys when they responded to a report of six horses running wild on Bonser Run Road. Callers said the animals were running through yards and into the road.
Deputies caught up with the animals between Whitley and Labert and blocked the road while they attempted to get them back inside a fenced area.
A deputy found the horses’ owner, who was able to get the animals to safety while her son worked on mending the fence.
