Orville Glenn Keller “Jack”, 87 of Portsmouth passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born July 28, 1937 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Vance and Virginia Seth Keller. He was a Gideon and a Kentucky Colonel. He sang bass for many Gospel Quartets and was a member of Rubyville Community Church. He was a retired Empire Detroit Steel Foreman of many departments and along with his wife, owned and operated Keller Construction.
He is survived by three daughters, Lesa Schneider, Beth (Dennis) Roberts, Kathi (Kevin) Lute; nine grandchildren, Kerri Lute, Krystal Lute, Ashley (Markus) Lott, Vanessa (Matt) Lawson, Christopher Schneider, Nicholas (Paige) Schneider, Lindsay (Andy) Trent, Blake Schneider, Kelsey (Brent Beauchamp) Schneider; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Wright, and one brother, Darrell (Regina) Keller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Ann Keller on May 5, 2021; a great great grandson, Kingston Lute, and a sister, Bonnie Bumgardener.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2025 at Rubyville Community Church with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Rubyville Community Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
