We’ve told you before about how Franklin County frequently ships kids it can’t handle to Scioto County Group Homes, even though our county doesn’t have enough placements for our local children.
Just after 3 pm, police were called to a group home for a report that a child was trying to break windows with chairs.

Officers said the girl seemed calm when they arrived, but staff said they were having problems with her behavioral issues.
Police contacted Franklin County CPS and spoke to the girl’s former caseworker. The caseworker said the home had put in an emergency removal request for the child but would have to make arrangements to get her back to Columbus.
