Officers responded to multiple reports of people passed out in the area.
Just after 6 am, Dorman Street callers reported a man passed out on the side of the road. When officers arrived, the man took off.
Police searched the area and also spoke with a resident who had their garage door open to look for the guy. Officers were unable to locate the man.
At 9:30 am, a caller reported a person passed out at the laundromat at 17th and Kendall. They said the caller had a stroller with them. When officers spoke to the person, they explained they were homeless and sleeping. Police told them to move along.
At 3:45, the counseling Center reported a man had overdosed and was having trouble staying conscious. An ambulance transported him to the hospital.
At 4 pm, callers reported an unresponsive man at a Royce Street Home. Callers said they had administered several doses of Narcan.
By the time officers and EMTs arrived, the man was alert and fled the scene on a bicycle.
