Officers responded to the Family Dollar just before 7 pm after an employee reported two individuals has passed out behind the building. Police spoke to the pair, and they agreed to leave with Quick Response Team and go to a detox facility.

Police returned to the store the next day after employees caught a shoplifter in the act. When police caught up with him, the man admitted to stealing items from the store. Officers returned the property and served him with a no-trespass order.
