Officers checked out multiple cases of people who just decided to go to sleep on the ground overnight.
At 1 am, a caller reported a man lying in the grass on the side of the road in the 2400 block of 17th Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered the man was just sleeping. They noted he did not seem to be intoxicated and advised him to move on for the night.
Thirty minutes later, a caller reported a man passed out on the ground at Tim Horton’s. When officers checked that scene out, the man said he was sleeping. Police advised him to move along.
Just before 3 am, callers reported a man and woman screaming at each other in Tracy Park. Police advised the pair to move along as the park was closed.
