Passed Out on Dexter Avenue
At 11 am, officers responded to a report of two women passed out in a van at the end of Dexter Avenue.
Police impounded the van and took the women into custody.
Officers charged Anna Caudill with possessing drug abuse, illegal conveyance of a weapon in a school safety zone, tampering with evidence, and possession of drugs.
Also arrested was Corey Weaver, who they charged with possessing drug abuse instruments, tampering with evidence, and possession of drugs.
Police booked both women into the Scioto County Jail.
Drunk and Disorderly at the Four Keys Inn
Just after 5:30 pm, employees at the Four Keys Inn told police a drunk man was causing issues. They said they asked him to leave, but he refused.
When officers arrived, the man was in his room and said he would call for a ride and leave.
At 6 pm, employees called back to say the man had caused a disturbance. Officers went back to the hotel and took the man into custody for disorderly conduct.
Bloody Mess at the Royal Inn
Officers responded to the Royal Inn on Kendall Avenue for a report of a man with a deep cut on his arm. An officer applied a tourniquet and called for the fire department.
The man told police he was sharpening a pencil with a knife and had accidentally cut himself.
Fire Department EMS arrived on the scene a few minutes later and transported the man to SOMC for treatment.
