Fellow patients at an area rehab turned in a couple whose actions put their addiction recovery in danger. Multiple patients told staff members a couple had large bags of meth and fentanyl with them at the facility.
Security searched the male patient’s room and found the drugs but called the cops before searching the female patient. When officers arrived, they found the female patient attempting to shove a baggie into her pants.
The man admitted the drugs were his, but the woman claimed she’d just found them and had been thinking about using them.
Officers arrested the pair, impounded the drugs, and transported them to the Lawrence County Jail.
