Penny Rickey, age 50, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020, at her home.
She was born November 22, 1969, in Pontiac, Michigan to William and Mary (Robinson) Keplinger. Penny liked to sing and crochet, but really enjoyed fishing and the great outdoors. She loved cookouts and spending with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Rickey; son, David Keplinger and girlfriend Destiny of Lucasville; daughter, Amanda Swords of West Portsmouth; sisters, Peggy Mounts of Portsmouth and Patty Childers of New Boston; grandchildren, Kilie, Ethan, Bryson, Whitlee, Alayah, and Baylee. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2020, at D.W. SWICK-NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston with Pastor Lorenzo Bentley officiating. Interment will follow at Oswego Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
