The administrator of a local nursing home contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office about an issue involving a pot-smoking patient.

The facility said they’d barred a female visitor believed to have brought pot and other drugs to the patient in the past and that they’d caught him smoking pot outside the facility.
Staff confiscated marijuana they found on him, but he refused to turn over his lighter or any other drugs he might have in his possession.
