Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Doris Miller.  He was the eldest of six children.  Two of his younger brothers, Lawrence (Larry) and Ralph (Gary) also preceded him in death.  He is survived by his best friend and wife of 58 years, Norma (Jordan) Miller.  He has three surviving siblings: Patricia Kayser, Bryan Miller, and Peggy Maggs.

Bob is survived by three children: Susan Gayle Barnes (Russell); Gregory Andrew Miller (Jen); and Wade Anthony Miller (Patricia).

Bob was a member of Wheelersburg Baptist Church where he had previously served for many years as Trustee and President of the Adult Sunday School class. Those who knew him well described him as a devoted Christian man who strove for integrity in bringing honor to his Lord, Jesus Christ.  He retired from Cincinnati Insurance and had previously worked as an Ohio Highway State Patrolman.

He will be missed by his loving family.  The viewing and service will be at the Swick Funeral Home in Wheelersburg, Ohio.  Pastor Brad Brandt of Wheelersburg Baptist Church will lead the service in giving thanks to our Lord for His faithfulness to Bob.  The service will extol the hope we have in our crucified and risen Lord.  In lieu of flowers, the family would ask that donations be made to Wheelersburg Baptist Church’s Community Center that provides care and meals for others.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.  Revelation 14:13
