Robert Lewis, age 67, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November, 15, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice.Born on September 6, 1957, in Portsmouth, to Thomas and Wilma “Ruth” (Nee: Pennywitt) Lewis.
Robert attended Portsmouth Public Schools and found joy in his musical talents, especially playing the guitar. He was a dedicated member of Ohio River React, showing his commitment to community service.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents and his brothers: Steve and Nick Lewis.
A lover of music and football, Robert cherished his time with loved ones the most. His warm spirit and infectious laughter will always be remembered by those who knew him.
Robert leaves behind four sisters: Lola (Ron) Cline, Sandra Ratcliff, Linda (Kenneth) Grooms, Penny Frazier, three brothers: Ted (Donetta) Lewis, Gary (Dorothy) Lewis, Tom (Sharon) Lewis, two daughters: Magdalene (Erik) Boggs and Tonya Lansing, and five grandchildren: Taylor (Dylan) Rawlins, Alixander Lansing, Brooke Lansing, Jordyn Lansing, Clayton Fulk, and one great grandson Samuel Rawlins, and his life long friend Steve Lane.
In honoring his memory, the family is hosting a private memorial service for Robert.
