It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Scott Isley, a resident of Wheelersburg, on November 5, 2024. Born on March 12, 1974, in Wabash, IN, where Scott spent most of his life until he relocated to Wheelersburg in 2008.
Everyone who met Scott could instantly feel the warmth and kindness in his soul. His greatest passion in life was helping others, and he channeled this love and passion for human beings in his work as a server.
Scott found solace in the great outdoors, enjoying activities such as fishing, boating/tubing, and attending heavy metal concerts. His love for life was evident in his infectious laughter, which could brighten even the darkest of days. A talented cook and griller, Scott’s culinary skills were only outstanding.
In his role as a server in the restaurant industry, Scott poured his heart into serving others, embodying his passion for humanity. His boundless love extended to his family and his cherished cats: Jack, Kouna, and Fuzzy, the recent loss of twenty year old cat Bam,in March of this year was heavy on his heart.
Scott is survived by his devoted daughter, Kelsey Isley of Columbus, OH; his loving mother and stepfather, Becky and Tracy Morales of Middlebury, IN; and his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Augusta Isley of Muncie, IN and adopted daughter Sydney Dixon of Columbus, OH. Preceded in death by his father, Billy Dale, at a young age, Scott’s memory will forever be engraved in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Scott Isley will be held at a future date please check back with us or the family. The family requests that for all those who cherished Scott to join them in celebrating his life and remembering the warmth and kindness he brought to the world. In honoring his memory, let us carry forth his legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering generosity.
