Shawnda Beth Newman, 33, of Mcdermott, Ohio, passed away, September 3, 2021, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Shawnda was born June 2, 1988, a daughter of Ronald Newman II and Tabatha (Steven Massie) Hodge Prater.
Along with her parents she is survived by one sister, Nickey Parlin, one brother, Ronald Newman III, grandparents, Robert and Mary Hodge, Nola Evans and Glenna Newman, uncle, Robin Hodge, aunt, Kelly Hodge, nephew, Fynlee Parlin, niece, Elyssa Wolford, brother-in-law, Adam Parlin and many cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Newman and great grandmother, Nora Allgood.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Crockett L. Reed Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky is in charge of the arrangements.
