A worried mom called 911 after her daughters called her in a panic, saying that someone tried to break into their apartment.
When officers arrived on the scene, they saw that the door frame was busted and spoke to the 15-year-old and 21-year-old sisters. The girls said they heard a long bang at their door. The younger sister screamed, and the older one got their dog and a weapon and went downstairs to investigate.
However, by that time, the burglar was gone. The mom told officers a man had broken into the South Point apartment in the past and that another resident of the complex was known to go into other people’s apartments.
Lawrence County Deputies took photos and information for a report.
