Wilma Dean Monroe, 86 of Cincinnati, formerly of West Portsmouth, died Friday, March 12, 2021, at her home. She was born September 8, 1934, in West Virginia to the late James and Clara Campbell Quinn. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Richard Willis Monroe, 3 brothers: Sherman Quinn, Jimmy Quinn, and Arthur Quinn, and sisters Tryphina Igo, and Phyllis Moore.
Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Pond Run Baptist Church.
She is survived by 5 sons: Richard Allen (Sherry) Monroe, Glen Winston (Connie) Monroe, Timothy Ray (Kim) Monroe, Howard Keith (Dawne) Monroe, and Kerry Lee (Karen) Monroe, a daughter, Ruth Ann (Roger) Campbell, a sister Edith Shawver, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Jim McCullough officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
