1 Woman Arrested For 36th Time After Refusing To Leave Kendall Avenue Apartment
Portsmouth Police arrested a woman for the 36th time after she refused to leave a Kendall Avenue Apt. late Tuesday evening.
Police responded to the report of a woman refusing to leave an apartment just after 10:30 pm. Officers took 44-year-old Rebecca James into custody for criminal trespass, posing drug abuse instruments, probation, violation, and escape.
This was her 36th time in the Scioto County Jail and her third arrest of 2022. Previous charges included probation violation, possession of meth, violating a protection order, domestic violence, failure to appear, conveying prohibited items into a jail, and tampering with evidence.
2 Woman Swings Hammer at Ex Boyfriend
Officers responded to Logan Street after a man said his ex-girlfriend was swinging a hammer at him. He told police she left the scene and was headed towards Wayne Hills.
Officers caught up with her in an alley east of Grandview Avenue. They took information for a report.
