A worried Walnut Street resident contacted PPD at 5 a.m. to report a strange woman on her front porch yelling for someone to call 9-1-1.

When officers arrived on the scene, the woman told them she was playing tag. Police determined she was having mental health issues and took her into custody and she was booked for disorderly conduct around 7 a.m. and immediately released.
Later that afternoon, a 16th Street caller reported a strange woman on her porch. She told the caller she’d just gotten out of jail. Police responded to the scene and took the same woman back into custody for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.
