Just before 11:30 am, a worker from the Four Keys Inn called 9-1-1 to report a woman at the motel asked her to call for help.
She said the young woman claimed her male companion was beating her and forcing her to go to Ashland. The victim gave the employee the man’s name.
The pair left before the officer arrived, but police dispatched Sheriff’s deputies to his Rosemount address to do a welfare check on the woman and also contacted a Kentucky official to keep an eye out.

Officers searched the area but could not locate the woman.
