Woman With 8 Pups Living in Car in Kroger Parking Lot
Officers headed to Kroger to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot just before 7:30 am.
Witnesses had previously reported the vehicle in the lot, but this was the first time officers had been able to speak to the driver. They discovered a running vehicle with foil over the windows.
The car’s owner explained that she was homeless and living in the car with eight pups. Police explained that if Kroger wanted her to leave the lot, she had to go.
They directed her to the Salvation Army to seek help.
