Norma Ruth Bowling, 75, of South Shore, KY, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born in Portsmouth, OH, on November 30, 1950, a daughter of the late Ellis Adkins and Ruth Warnock Adkins.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-mother, Martha Adkins; two sisters, Marilyn Owens and Faye Helms; two brothers, Donald Adkins and Herb Adkins.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her high school sweetheart and husband of 57 years, Lonnie Bowling; two sons, Kelly (Clarkson) Bowling of Marietta, GA, and Derrick (Tiffany Watts) Bowling of Clinton, SC; two grandsons, Tucker and Alex; two brothers, David Adkins of South Portsmouth, KY, and Roger Adkins of Milford Center, OH, along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Norma was a member of the First Christian Church in South Shore, KY, where she taught Sunday School, and a member of the South Shore Homemaker Club.
Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Brett Unger officiating. Burial will follow at MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M.
