Officers met a woman at the Speedway on Gallia to take a report about a stolen phone at 5 am. The victim gave a description of the alleged thief, and officers took information for a report.
A woman flagged down police near Sonora’s to report a stolen computer. She said the theft happened last night in South Shore, but Kentucky police had refused to file a report. She told police her former boyfriend had taken her computer.
She offered a description of the former boyfriend’s vehicle and said all she wanted was her PC returned. Officers advised her to contact the boyfriend’s parole officer.
Just after noon, officers responded to Big Lots on Gallia for a report of a bicycle theft. The bike was described as chrome with white rims. An officer took information for a report.
Grand Theft Auto on St. Rt. 522
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a stolen vehicle on St. Rt. 522 just before 5 am.
The victim described the vehicle as a maroon Mitsubishi. He said he last saw the vehicle on Wednesday night at about 10 pm.
He also said his wife’s purse was left in the vehicle, however, the keys were not in the car. Police took information for a report and entered it into the stolen vehicles database.
