Gloria Jean Clifford, 81, of Portsmouth, died Sunday April 16, 2023, at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus.
Gloria was born April 22, 1941, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late Renato and Lola Pasquinelli. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George William Clifford, on January 2, 2021.
Gloria is a graduate of Notre Dame High School, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and the former owner of Patsy’s Restaurant.
Surviving are her daughters; Kim Clifford of Portsmouth, Debbie (Scott) Sanders of Ironton, Angela (Joe) Kaut of Minford, her brother, Ronald (Patty) Pasquinelli of Minford, her sisters, Nancy Bowman of Portsmouth, Patricia Jones of Roanoke, VA., seven grandchildren; Nicole (Ryan) Cook, John (Janet) Storey, Joey Storey, Andrew Nickell, Misty Kaut, Courtney Sanders, and Luke (Shelby) Sanders, six great grandchildren; Braxton Huff, Barrett Sanders, Grayson Cook, Georgia Cook, Isla Cook, and Simon Storey, as well as several nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 PM Friday, April 21, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Portsmouth. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 20th, 2023, with a Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.
In honor of Gloria, the family asks that donations be made to SOMC Hospice, or St. Mary’s Catholic Church in lieu of flowers.
