What Do Portsmouth City Workers Earn? 

Portsmouth City Council will consider a measure to offer a 3.85% raise to non-union employees and confirm raises already negotiated with union employees at Monday’s Council Meeting.

The pay rate for Portsmouth Police starts at $18.45 per hour for a recruit and raises to $23.54 during the probationary period and to $34.68 for Rookies.
