23-year-old suspect Antonio Blake Milar, arrested for murder, was discovered in an abandoned burned-out building on 6th Street, Portsmouth. This is not the first time Milar has faced charges related to crimes against children, having previously been booked on charges including corruption of a minor, assault, and unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Despite being on parole following a conviction for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 2019, Milar has violated parole twice since his release. On top of that, records indicate that he was released from jail two weeks before the fatal shooting, following his arrest on a probation department warrant.
Recent Arrest
Antonio Blake Milar is 23 and was arrested on murder charges after police found him hiding out in an abandoned burned-out building on 6th Street.
Unlawful Sexual Contact
This is not the first time he’s been charged with a crime against a child. He’s been booked into the Scioto County Jail previously on charges of corruption of a minor, assault, and unlawful sexual contact with a minor.
Repeat Parole Violator
He’s violated parole twice since he’s been released. Milar was arrested for parole violation and an out-of-county warrant in December of 2021 and again for parole violation on May 9.
Just Released from Jail
Milar was released from jail two weeks before the fatal shooting. Jail records show he was arrested on a warrant from the probation department on May 9 and held in jail for 6 days before his release on May 15.
