Michael Kerns, also known as Miller, was apprehended without any complications on Thursday, August 31st, around 2:30 a.m. in Franklin Furnace, Ohio, according to Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman. Held without bond, Kerns has been charged with Receiving Stolen Property, a felony of the 5th degree, as well as 3 counts of Telecommunication Fraud and Forgery, both felonies of the 5th degree.
This arrest is a result of an incident that took place on Friday, August 25th, involving a vehicle break-in during the Wheelersburg Football Game. Detectives managed to trace credit card transactions made at a local gas station and a Walmart in New Boston. Two suspects were identified through surveillance footage.
One of the suspects, Gidget Michelle Timberman, 29, of 262 Kinker Drive in Wheelersburg, Ohio, was apprehended that same night. However, deputies and detectives were initially unable to locate Michael Kerns, also known as Miller.
