On Saturday afternoon around 3:15, members of Union, Rush, Otway, Morgan, and Valley Fire Departments were called to a trailer fire in the 7000 block of Big Spruce Little Bear Creek Rd.
Once on scene, firefighters described heavy smoke and multiple areas of fire. A few minutes later, they called to report an explosion.
AEP was notified to shut off the power.

Tankers from the north and northwest parts of the county were lined up to battle the blaze and prevent its spread.
Morgan and Valley reported they were clear of the scene at 4:45 pm.
At 5:15 pm, all the remaining units cleared the scene.
No reports of injuries to the residents or the firefighters were reported.
