Employees of a local rehab facility contacted police just after 10 pm to report a former patient attempted to steal drugs.
She said the man had walked away from the facility the day before. The man then returned and attempted to get into the medicine cabinet.
Employees contacted the man’s probation officer, and the PO said they planned to issue a warrant for the man’s arrest.
Officers took information for a report.
Apartment Residents Say Rehab Taking Up Parking Spaces
Officers investigated a parking complaint at the Lofts Apartment on Gallia Street. Residents had complained that employees and staff from a nearby drug rehabilitation facility were parking illegally.
Staff at the facility said their staff parks behind their building and that all clients are dropped off by van. Employees said the facility gets blamed for everything.
Officers didn’t see anyone parked illegally during their visit.
