Annette Rollins, 67, of Portsmouth, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at SOMC Hospice. She was born March 11, 1957 in Ironton to the late Margaret Ann Carter.
Annette was an LPN and worked primarily in home healthcare. She was a member of Christ Temple and Living Faith Temple. Annette was a very supportive parent in her children’s endeavors and she also loved to play tennis.
In addition to her mother, Annette was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Stephen Rollins, and a sister, Princess Carter.
Annette is survived by her three children, Stephen, Veronica, and Shanice Rollins, all of Portsmouth, two brothers, Odarkness Carter of California and Tyrone Carter (Teresa Clifford-Carter) of Portsmouth, three sisters, Stephanie Carter of North Carolina, Lisa Taylor (William) of Portsmouth, and Belinda Greene (Joe) of Portsmouth, along with many nieces and nephews.
Annete also leaves behind her two precious grandchildren whom she adored, Scotlyn Taylor and Koa Woods.
A memorial service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Living Faith Temple Church, with Pastor Marcus Bendolph officiating. A visitation for friends and relatives will be on Saturday from 11:00 AM to the start of service. Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth is handling the arrangements.
