Our organization strongly supports Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS services. We highlight first responders who go above and beyond. However, there are times when those tasked with protecting the public make terrible decisions. Our police officers and county deputies tell us they want poor behavior exposed because it makes the entire force look bad.
On Monday afternoon, we received information from multiple sources that a serious neglect of public safety and trust was uncovered in the New Boston Police Department.
SCDN has been informed that two officers from the New Boston Police Department have been permitted to resign immediately after a tip revealed they were having sex while on duty.
The male officer had a storage unit converted into a sexytime bunker, according to an insider. The two officers were caught in the storage unit by another female who was familiar with the setup and stopped by to take a look, one source said.
They were immediately called in and questioned. Allegedly, the Chief, who is set to retire soon, allowed them to resign rather than being fired.
The male officer was, reportedly, a Sergeant with the department.
Another source tells SCDN that the NBPD will be keeping “a tight lid” on the situation. Nevertheless, SCDN will continue to press for more answers and will update you if the department chooses to respond.
