Betty Sharon Dupuy, 84, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Concord Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wheelersburg, Ohio. Born on August 22, 1941, in Greenup, Kentucky, Betty lived a life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and community. She was cherished and beloved figure known affectionately as “Mama” to her four grandchildren, she was a devoted member of the Wheelersburg Church of Christ, she found joy and purpose in her faith and fellowship. Her role as a grandmother was one she treasured deeply, and she was dearly loved.
She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa (Phil) Shephard, Wendi (Karl) Fleeman; four grandchildren, Leah Shephard, Abbey Shephard, Luke Fleeman, Max Fleeman; one brother, Jim (Sharon) Potter, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Christine Dupuy, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Dupuy, Jr.; and five siblings: Ed Potter, Mildred Stone, Glenis Potter, Clyde Potter, and Rebecca Weghorst.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2026 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Dupuy Family Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
