1. Wanted Man Arrested at Homeless Shelter
Just after 9:33 am, officers discovered that a resident of the 8th Street Homeless Shelter had an open felony warrant for domestic violence out of Delaware County.
Police took the 32-year-old man into custody. He is being held without bond.
2. Bizarre Behavior at Burger King
Witnesses reported a man with a mohawk acting strangely in the Burger King parking lot just before 9 pm.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took a man into custody for disorderly conduct warrant and advised his companions to leave the scene.
Officers arrested Daniel Hayslip for the 21st time. This was his second arrest so far in 2023. Previous charges include probation violation, failure to appear, domestic violence, drug manufacturing, drug possession, burglary, and using a weapon while intoxicated.
He was released per the court.
