Carol Jeannine Royal Boyd, age 69, of Lucasville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born on June 7, 1957, in West Virginia.
Carol was a 1975 graduate of Portsmouth High School and the Scioto County Joint Vocation School and retired as an office manager from Hanson Aggregates.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Wallace and Lesta Monroe Royal and her brother, Thomas Michael Royal.
Surviving are a son, Nick Allison; her grandchildren, Ellie and Isabella Allison and her friend, June (Keith) Kelley.
A service in Carol’s honor will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum, officiated by Pastor Mike Wyatt. She will be laid to rest at Memorial Burial Park following the service. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville on the same day.
