Connie Howard, 73, of Greenup, KY, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Columbus, OH, on June 15, 1952, a daughter of the late Lacy and Cora McCarty Wells.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons, David Binion and Raymond Howard; two sisters, Eva Cooper and Margaret Dexter; four brothers, Lacy “Buck” Wells JR, Fred Wells, Darrell Wells, and John Wells.
Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Sophia Hunt of Russell, KY; one son, Lonnie Howard of South Shore, KY; two sisters, Tina (Tommy) Prichard of Greenup, KY, and Gloria Galvin of Columbus, OH, one brother, William (Marsha) Wells of Greenup, KY; six grandchildren, Chase Hunt, Ryan Cade Hunt, Sammy Howard, Maddison Howard, Joey Howard, Allyson Howard and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 7 P.M. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Hayden Hunt officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday at the funeral home from 5 P.M. until the service hour. There will be a private inurnment at a later date.
