Denver Edward Adkins, 87, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026 in his home. He was the son of William Riley and Bertha (Dyer) Adkins. He was a retired member of the Ironworker’s Brotherhood and the Laborer’s Union.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Jo (Sherer) Adkins as well as two sons, Steven Edward Adkins and David Wayne Adkins.
He is survived by two daughters, Marian Lee Adkins (Tony Lewis) and Donna Lynn (Scott) Adkins; five grandchildren, Andrea (Josh) Reed, Deven Adkins, Derek Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Alisha Jarvis, and twelve great grandchildren.
