Judy Irene Holt, 60, of Lucasville, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe from complications of Covid-19.
She was born August 16, 1961, the daughter of the late Paul and Lilian Johnson Cooper.
Judy was a former employee of Edgewood Manor and Southern Ohio Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Woodruff.
Judy was a loving wife of 39 years to James “Tim” Holt whom she married September 17, 1982, in McDermott; wonderful mother to four daughters, Sarah Rhoden (Torrance Jordan) of Chillicothe, Elana (Josh) Spencer of Waverly, Kimberly (Todd) Dunn of McDermott, and Kelly Culbertson of Lucasville; John Whitt, of Nelsonville, who was like her son; nine grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and a very loved dog named Buddy; 10 brothers and 2 sisters, Dallas (Lillie) Cooper, Jerry (Sheila) Cooper, Jane (J.R.) Brown, Wendell (Cheryl) Cooper, Randy (Rhonda) Cooper, George Cooper, Keith (Kimberly) Cooper, Mark Cooper, Bonnie (Mark) Flinders all of Vanceburg, KY, Wayne (Debbie) Cooper and Dennis (the late Darlene) Cooper of Tollesboro, KY, and David (Becky) Cooper of Winchester, KY.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with Clint Doolittle and Casey Harness officiating. Burial will follow in Garvin Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and an hour prior to the funeral Saturday.
