Kimberly J. Evans, 66, of Franklin Furnace, died on March 10, 2025, at Concord Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born on March 7, 1959, in Ironton, she was a daughter of the late Gary and Donna Joy Stapleton McClellan.
Kim was a member of the Franklin Furnace First Church of God, a graduate of Green High School, the Class of 1977, graduated from Ohio University with a master’s degree in education and was a retired teacher from Green Elementary School.
Also preceding her in death was her husband, James Louis Evans and a great nephew, Maddox Lore.
Surviving are two sisters, Lana Lore of Wheelersburg and Angela Ibarra of Franklin Furnace; nieces and nephews, Gary (Carrie) Ibarra, Lauren Ibarra, Tyler Lore and Brandon (Kelli) Lore; great nieces and nephews, Reagan and Blair Ibarra, Tinsley and Tessly Collins, and Braelyn and Mila Lore.
Services are going to be at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.
