Just after midnight, officers responded to Walnut Street for a report that a man and woman were out in the alley arguing.
When officers arrived on the scene, the woman said the man had allowed her to stay in his van but no longer wanted her there. She said they’d argued, and he’d hurt her hand. Officers asked if she wanted a squad, but she refused and said she planned to walk the three and a half-miles to SOMC.
About an hour later, a man called in to say a woman was throwing rocks and calling him names at the same location. The caller said someone on the scene had a knife.
When police arrived, they learned the pair were arguing over property and the man had been maced by the woman. Officers said it appeared to be a mutual argument and transported both individuals involved to the hospital for treatment.
