Portsmouth Police Officers headed to a Robinson Avenue home after a man reported that a relative was being abused by her daughter. He said the pair lived together, and the daughter was abusing the woman and taking advantage of her financially.
When police arrived on the scene, the woman told them her daughter was not abusing her, but did yell at her sometimes. Officers advised the woman of her options for help, but she said her daughter had done nothing to her, and she was fine.

The woman told police she had been taking care of her mother and only using her mother’s cards with her permission. Officers advised all of the individuals of their options of assistance.
