Raymond Louis “Batman” Lunsford, 75, of McDermott, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at his residence. He was born January 4, 1950 in Mansfield, a son of the late Leonard Robert and Charlotte Marie (Piatt) Lunsford. He was a truck driver and a member of the Laborer’s Local 83.
He is survived by his wife, Tracey (Orlowski) Lunsford; seven children, Johnny Lunsford, Robert (Brooke) Lunsford, David (Ashley) Lunsford, Johnny (Nikki) Brannan, Heather (Denny) Wilson, Chris (Jess) Brannan, Adam Brannan; 24 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, Robert Lunsford, David Lunsford; one sister, Lois Boggs; special friends, Roger Colvin, Earl Frye, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Lunsford, and two sisters, Judy Lunsford and Marilyn Dean.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Jamie Riley officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
