Robert “Bob” Walker, 77, of South Shore, KY, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Portsmouth, OH, on April 12, 1949, a son of the late John and Marjorie Kennedy Walker.
He was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church in South Shore, KY, and was a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Brandon Levi Howerton.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Arlana Faye Hayden Walker; one daughter, Stephanie (Brad) Howerton of South Portsmouth, KY; one son, Christopher Walker of South Shore, KY; one brother, Donald (Patty) Walker of West Portsmouth, OH; four grandchildren, Ashlee Howerton, Allison Howerton, Aimee Howerton, Isaac Howerton and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services will be at 12 P.M. on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Brad Howerton officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be on Friday at the funeral home from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
