Scioto County Sheriff Sales Schedule
All sales are conducted pursuant to the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code. Real Estate Sales are held on Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. on the first floor of the Scioto County Court House, 602 6th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio 45662.
Please NOTE: The Sheriff’s Office does not have any keys to these properties. The list is for informational purposes only and may not contain current up-to-date withdrawals/cancellations. Complete lists of withdrawals/cancellations are read at the beginning of each Sheriff’s Sale.
Conditions of the Sale:
Normally, all bids begin at 2/3 of the appraised value of the property unless dictated otherwise by the court. Those who purchase property at our Sheriff’s sale shall be required by law to place a deposit (cash, cashier’s check, or personal check) down prior to leaving the sale. Deposits are determined by the appraisal value of the property being sold.
