Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies joined in the hunt for a woman with autism who had allegedly been kidnapped.
Lawrence County Deputies asked them to check a home on St. Rt. 139 for a vehicle believed connected to the kidnapping. Worried family members contacted dispatch in tears, and officers took information pertinent to locating the victim.
However, when officers checked out the address provided by the family, they discovered it was vacant and appeared to have been empty for some time.
