Shooting Threat at Mound Park
A man contacted officers to report a shooting threat at Mound Park just before 7:30 pm. The man said he was at the park with three kids and some juveniles at the tennis court said they were going to get a gun and shoot them.
He said he had no idea who the kids at the tennis court were, but they had attempted to pick a fight with his nephew and then threatened to get a 12 gauge to make good on the threats.
The man didn’t want to press charges, but he did want the police to talk to the kids’ parents. Police did have a talk with the kids in the area, but none of them would admit to making the threats.
