Gunfire erupted on Elmwood Drive just after 7 PM, sending residents diving for cover as bullets rang out in the quiet neighborhood.
Witnesses reported hearing three to five gunshots, spaced about five seconds apart, before a black car sped past their homes. Moments later, similar calls came in from Summit Street, Micklethwaite Road, and Edgewood Drive, all reporting drive-by gunfire.
Even officers on the scene heard shots fired nearby, but despite a massive police search, no suspects were found. A black car was spotted parked on Eck Court, but no shell casings were discovered inside.
With no arrests made and the shooter still on the loose, residents are left shaken. Police urge anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
