Woman Claims Taxi Driver Tried to Sell Her Meth, then Took Boyfriend
A woman was not happy with the taxi ride she received on Saturday night. She called the police at 6:20 pm to report her taxi driver had attempted to sell her meth when she dropped her and her boyfriend off.
The boyfriend had decided to stay in the taxi and go with the driver. The woman claimed she had reported the driver multiple times for setting drugs, but police had taken no action.
Wanted Parolee Busted Biking on Broadway
Just after midnight on Sunday, officers responded to a report of a suspicious man on a bike at Broadway at 7th Street.
When police spoke with the man, they discovered there were open warrants for his arrest.
Officers took 30-year-old Daniel Blevins into custody for a parole violation, probation violation, and failure to appear.
Men Throw Down at Frank & Steins
Just after midnight, officers responded to Frank & Steins Lounge for a report of a disturbance. A man claimed he was struck by another man’s vehicle, and someone had blocked that man’s car into the parking lot.
Officers said the two men had conflicting accounts, and there were no witnesses. Officers said they would review security footage at a later date. The bartender barred both men from the bar.
Police say no one was injured.
