Maxine Conley, 88 of Wheelersburg passed away Friday, January 8, 2021, at Portsmouth Health & Rehab. She was born January 15, 1932, in Kentucky, a daughter of the late Gus and Bertha Scarberry, she was a homemaker and attended Rubyville Community Church. Maxine loved doing crafts, cooking, and canning. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
She is survived by one daughter, Pinky (Ed) Boyer; grandson, Eric (Kara) Brambelett; granddaughter, Lisa Bramblett; their children, Jesse and Christopher Bramblett; grandson, Seth (Ashley) Boyer; their children, Sophia and Hailey Boyer; grandson, Alex (Tara) Boyer; their children, Trey and Drake Boyer; granddaughter, Latoya Nolan; her children, Tayiah and Ezekiel Davis, Naylan Willis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kerna Conley, Jr. on October 25, 2014; one son, Darrell Wayne Conley; one brother, Harold Scarberry, and three sisters, Mary Larue, Rachel Cummings, and Ethel Mitchell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Rubyville Community Church with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at Rubyville Community Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
