Pauline Louise Coburn, 97, of Portsmouth, formerly of McDermott, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022, at Hillview Health Care.
She was born September 16, 1924, in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Ethyl McKinley and Lydia Moore Clifford.
Pauline was a retired Nursing Assistant from Rendezvous Nursing Home and a member of the McDermott Branch of the Community of Christ.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, George “Pete” Coburn, January 6, 2018; a stillborn son, George F. Coburn III; four brothers, Russell Clifford, Larry Clifford, Paul Clifford, and Donald Clifford; and two sisters, Norma Jean Pike and Marie Clifford.
Pauline is survived by two daughters, Barbara Sue (Carl) Hoffer of Circleville and Bonnie Kaye (Colin) Fannin of Portsmouth; three grandchildren, Rick (Ruth) Hoffer, Ryan Fannin, and Noah (Sara) Fannin; and five great grandchildren, Brittany, Sadie, Kaeli, Kaidyn, and Lydia; three sisters, Kathleen Clifford of Lucasville, Beatrice Kingsley of New Lexington, and Brenda Rockwell of Cincinnati.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon, Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the McDermott Community of Christ with Ed Cable and Daron Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Rushtown Cemetery. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville and an hour prior to the funeral Saturday at the church.
